Indra Mukherjee is a gifted exponent of the Kirana and Banaras Gharanas, whose lifelong dedication to Hindustani classical music is marked by deep training and versatile performance. She trained under Shri A.T. Kanan at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata, and later under Vidushi Savita Devi, daughter of the legendary Siddheshwari Devi, mastering genres such as Thumri, Dadra, Hori, Kajri, and Bhajan.
She also received guidance from Pandit Bholanath Mishra, further enriching her repertoire with rare and traditional compositions.- A-Grade Artist, All India Radio – Thumri-Dadra and Bhajan – As a Founder of Sangeetangan, a platform for music education and cultural exchange for the society and upliftment amongst the young generation.
